After more than 20 years in the electronics industry, I decided to start my own business in Japan to help companies bridge the gap between traditional B2B marketing and today’s data-driven world. I began my career as an engineer in Germany, developing ceramic components and later managing international product marketing and strategic planning projects for automotive and industrial applications.

Working for many years in Japan – most recently leading digital marketing transformation at TDK – I saw how even strong technical companies struggle to connect marketing with data and strategy. This inspired me to found **HiCoData**, a hands-on consulting firm that combines engineering logic with modern marketing analytics. My goal is to help both Japanese and foreign businesses use digital tools more effectively, improve transparency, and build global competitiveness through smarter data use.

BUSINESS

HiCoData is a hands-on consulting firm based in Tokyo helping B2B manufacturing companies in Japan and Germany transition from analog to digital marketing.

Our approach combines engineering logic with modern digital marketing, focusing on practical implementation rather than theory.

Core services include:

– GEO / AEO consulting (Generative Engine Optimization & AI-assisted Search strategies) to help industrial firms stay visible in the age of AI search.

– Fractional CMO support, providing part-time strategic leadership for companies that need marketing expertise without hiring full-time.

– LinkedIn marketing – both paid and organic – to build awareness, generate qualified leads, and position brands internationally.

Unlike agencies, HiCoData acts as a hands-on partner, working directly with internal teams to design dashboards, improve data usage, and connect marketing activities to business value. Our mission: make industrial marketing measurable, modern, and human.

VISION

My vision is to help more B2B manufacturing companies – especially in Japan and Germany – build a sustainable, data-driven marketing culture. I believe that marketing should not only drive growth but also contribute to a more balanced and meaningful society.

At HiCoData, our aim is to serve society by providing services in Japan that support local businesses and make people’s lives more enjoyable in a healthy, eco-friendly way. 

My long-term goal is to create an international network of marketing engineers who can think strategically, act practically, and make marketing measurable. By bridging Japan and Europe, I hope to inspire a new generation of marketers who value clarity, precision, and meaningful results.

I would like to connect with business leaders, marketing managers, and innovators. My focus is on B2B manufacturers, technology providers, and industrial service companies in Japan and Germany that are ready to modernize their marketing and sales approach.

I also seek collaboration with agencies, consultants, and creators who share a passion for measurable impact and transparent, human-centered marketing. Whether through joint projects, knowledge exchange, or co-creation, I believe success comes from building a network of trusted partners who complement each other’s strengths.
